We are all looking forward to the Napier Art Deco Festival marking the 90th anniversary of the 1931 Hawke’s Bay Earthquake. Five days of fun are in the offing. Time to polish those gorgeous cars until they sparkle and grab your glad rags. Your shiny shoes may need to walk you through a variety of events across restaurants, cafés, bars, theatres, galleries, music venues and parks throughout Hawke’s Bay. Hats will be tilted to watch the skies above too with the welcome return of the Art Deco air show. It is truly wonderful that this community has been rebuilt from the rubble and now hosts such a vibrant event. The time to celebrate is very near. Three cheers to Art Deco!!!
